Got some questions?

01.
What do I need to have ready before we start the project?

Before we start you will need to complete a branding worksheet to create a clear direction for the project. This will help to clarify your business goals and values, indicate who your target audience is and determine which visual styles you like or dislike . Any existing content (copywriting and images) that you would like to use also need to be supplied upfront. Otherwise I can provide a quote for copywriting and photography services.

02.
How does the design process work?

My design process is a collaborative approach that involves the client at every stage. We begin with an initial consultation and research stage to clarify business goals, values, target audience, and preferred visual styles. This research informs the concept stage, where I’ll explore and develop ideas. The client will receive design concepts to review and provide feedback. Through a structured revision process, we’ll work together to refine the design over a set number of rounds, ensuring the final product authentically represents the brand and achieves the business objectives.
You can learn more about the stages of process here:

03.
Why don’t you design ‘just a logo’?

A logo is only one element of your visual identity and should be designed in context of your whole brand. I prefer to design a logo as part of your overall visual identity to tell the story of your brand. This means, I am also looking at other factors including colour palette, typography, imagery and the personality of your brand.

04.
What files will I receive at the end of the project?

At the completion of your project, you will receive a range of files tailored to their specific use. These may include:
Vector Files (EPS, SVG) – for logos and graphics
Raster Files (JPEG, PNG) for web and social media use
Print-ready PDF – for files to be printed (business cards, brochures, letterheads etc)
Please note that working/source files (Indesign, Illustrator) remain the property of Unvale Studio. If you require these files, they can be purchased at an additional cost. Please let me know at the start of the project if you’d like to arrange this.

05.
What are the payment terms?

A 50% deposit is required from all clients to book their design project. This deposit reserves a space in my design calendar so that I can dedicate my time and resources to the project.
The final balance of your invoice is due upon completion of the project and prior to final files being delivered. Depending on the size of the project, some payments may be made in stages. This will be determined and outlined on the quote.
Please note, the 50% deposit is non-refundable, meaning that if the project is postponed or cancelled the deposit will not be returned.

06.
Why is the deposit non-refundable?

Your deposit secures time allocation in my calendar for the project, which means I’ll be turning away other clients and projects, resulting in a loss of income and other opportunities. Additionally, I invest time in administrative tasks and preparation before we begin. A non-refundable deposit demonstrates the client’s commitment to the success of the project.
